HOLOCAUST TOUR IN POLAND: WARSAW – LUBLIN - KRAKOW

Proposed itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Warsaw. Check in hotel for 1 night stay. Overnight and dinner at the hotel.

Day 2

Depart hotel for half-day sightseeing of Warsaw with places connected with Jewish history.

Itinerary: The Monument to the Heroes of the Ghetto, Umschlagplatz, the Jewish Historical Institute, Sienna Street (fragment of the Ghetto Wall), the Nożyk Synagogue.

Depart Warsaw and check in at the hotel in Lublin. Overnight and dinner in Lublin.

Day 3

Check out from the hotel and visiting State Museum at Majdanek.

Museum was founded in November 1944 on the grounds of the former German concentration camp.

After visiting drive to Krakow. Overnight and dinner in Krakow.

Day 4

Half day tour of Jewish district - historical district of Krakow best known for being home to a Jewish community from the 14th century until the Second World War. Itinerary: Remuh, Galicja Museum The Eagle’s Pharmacy ,former ghetto in Pogorze District, Schindler’s factory, Plaszow Camp.

Overnight at the hotel in Krakow.

Day 5

Check out from the hotel and depart for a half-day tour of Auschwitz – Birkenau - World War II extermination camp and Holocaust victims memorial. Visiting the permanent exhibition at Auschwitz I Main Camp and the site of the Camp, documentary presenting the first moments after liberation, the most important remaining camp objects at Birkenau.

Depart from Auschwitz to the airport in Krakow.
