It has been 125 years since the last rider of the Pony Express thundered across the mountains and plains, but this vast lonely country has changed little. The scenery is magnificent and varied with rivers, mountains, sagebrush plains, and wooded hills. Let Kosher Expeditions take you on an adventure of the Wild West as we explore the vast beauty of America's frontier of old. Your adventure includes your horse to ride the plains, your raft to run the rapids, and your feet to explore one of America's most spectacular national parks.

The Ranch is located in the northwest corner of Wyoming, 26 miles from Yellowstone National Park. Nestled on Canyon Creek, it lies on the border of the Shoshone National Forest in the middle of the Absaroka Range of the Rocky Mountains.

Accommodations & Meals: Modern cabins with private baths and maid service. Cabins available for couples and large families. Hearty kosher meals are served family-style in the ranch dining room with several barbecues during the week.

Comment: The Kosher Wild West Adventure takes place on a second generation, family-owned and -operated ranch started in 1956. Its smaller size and secluded location allows guests to become immersed in the area's natural surroundings.

Day 1 (Sun.)
Arrive and settle into your cabin, tour the ranch, and meet the other guests at the picnic dinner.

Day 2 (Mon.)
After breakfast, cowboys fit your saddle and introduce you to your horse. Following lunch, we go on our first ride. In the evening a cowboy singer entertains us around the campfire.

Day 3 (Tues.)
Rise early for a morning ride. After lunch, travel to Cody for the "River Float," a moderate white water rapid trip. In the evening it's off to the "Cody Night Rodeo."

Day 5 (Thurs.)
Day ride to Table Mountain and after dinner, a fishing contest in the ranch pond.

Day 6 (Fri.)
Optional riding day, or tour of the "lower loop" of Yellowstone National Park. Sites include Yellowstone Lake, Old Faithful, the Geyser Basin, park wildlife, and more. Prepare for Shabbat.
