This 986 square km island is the second largest and most populated of the Archipelago. The highlands located about 12 km from Bellavista. To reach this site you have to go through the xerophytic vegetation into areas overgrown with scalecia, miconia, fern-sedge. Other species are the opuntia and the cereus. Palo Santo, croten and cryptocarpus bushes. The visit will include a hike around Los Gemelos which are actually sink holes rather than craters, surrounded by a scalecia forest where a large number of birds like the vermillion flycatcher and most of the 13 species of the famous Darwin finches have made their home.

Day 5  (Itinerary Subject to change)

South Plaza One of a small uplifted islands a short distance from the east coast of Santa Cruz. South Plaza has a unique Sesivium and Opuntia landscape which provides some of the most interesting wild life observation available in Galapagos. Land iguanas are always easily seen from the trail, frequently in the shade of a cactus. Swallow-tailed gulls, which nest on the rugged southern cliffs, are usually seen along with various other sea birds. The protected rocky seashore is a prime habitat for a large colony of noisy sea lions.

Punta Carrion a beach on the eastern tip of Santa Cruz Island, there is an easy walking of about 1 ½ hours. It is possible to swim and snorkel in the small bay. Vegetation is arid with cactus mainly Palo Santo. Little soil development. Eventually there are coastal birds, Nazca boobie, swallow tail gulls and tropic birds.

Day 6  (Itinerary Subject to change)

North Seymour: Life is teeming along this 1.4 km. visitors trail. On this island you can find sea lions waddling on the beach, land iguanas, frigate birds displaying their red pouches, colonies of blue footed boobies, swallow-tailed gulls the bright yellow warbler, and eventually fur seals

Bachas Beach Located just west of Turtle Cove, Las Bachas are two small beaches one of which contains the remains of a floating pier, a remnant of World War II activity in the islands. While an excellent place to swim, the shoreline and saltwater ponds behind the beach are a good habitat for blue herons, and other shore birds, as well as an occasional flamingo. The beach is a favorite nesting place for the green sea turtle.

Day 7,  (itinerary Subject to change)

Bartolome: From its 14 meter high summit, you will have the most breathtaking view of the islands, overlooking Sullivan By & Pinnacle Rock. The Galapagos penguin can be found there .

Or Santa Fe: The small bay of Barrington´s. Northeast coast, an extremely picturesque anchorage, provides the visitor with 2 trails. One of these trails leads to a scenic viewpoint on top of a cliff, and eventually leads to an area where a species of land iguana unique to this land can sometimes be seen. The second trail is a short walk from the beach to an unusually tall forest of prickly pear cactus.
