THE LOCATION:
Chianciano Terme is a lively and charming town located in the Tuscany region south of Florence and on the way to Rome. It is a very well-known SPA in Italy, especially for liver diseases. Its strategic position makes possible many excursions to the most important art centers of Italy.
THE HOTEL:
Despite being a 3 stars hotel, Hotel Cristallo has quite a high standard level: large and comfortable rooms with bath and sitting room, balcony, air conditioning, telephone, color television and piped music. It has spacious halls, reading and games room, bar, meeting room, swimming pool and garage. The service of the hotel is to the highest standards.
During Pesach the entire hotel will be Kosher Lemehadrin (no kitniot) under the supervision of Rav Yechezkhel Shainfeld from Bnei Berak.
EXCURSIONS IN THE AREA:
From CHIANCIANO TERME it is possible to organize excursions to the entire Tuscany region: Florence (one and half hours), Siena (one hour), Pisa (two hours), Leghorn, San Gimignano etc. Rome is not very far from the region (some two hours), and also the Umbria region with its capital town Perugia. Close to Chianciano there are two most charming medieval villages: Pienza and Montepulciano. Chianciano is also not far from Pitigliano, with its wonderful ancient Synagogue.
ORGANIZED TOURS DURING PESACH:
To Florence, Rome, Pitigliano, Siena and San Gimignano.
ACTIVITIES:
During the whole stay cultural and social activities will be organized. A special mini-club will operate for children's activities.
HOW TO GET THERE:
By air: to Florence (one and half hours), Rome (two hours), Pisa (two hours).
By train: On the railway Milan-Florence-Rome, go down at the Chiusi station. A few Km. from there you will find Chianciano.
By car: On the highway "Autostrada del Sole A1 Milan-Rome, exit Chianciano Terme-Chiusi.
