THE LOCATION:

GARDONE RIVIERA is a lively and charming town located on the south-western coast of the Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy, at a walking distance (2 and half Km.) from Salo', the biggest center of the entire lake. Gardone is a prestigious resort with a promenade along the lake, a well known botanic garden, and the "Vittoriale", the house of the famous Italian author Gabriele D'Annunzio, today a museum at his name.   

THE HOTEL:

The four stars HOTEL VILLE MONTEFIORI is one of the most luxurious hotels in the area; it is located at about 600 meters from the town, and overviews the lake from one side and the mountains from the other one. It is composed by three very special and elegant villas, with 50 spacious rooms. The hotel is surrounded by a huge park of 75.000 square meters with two swimming pools (for adults and children), tennis court and ping-pong table. All the rooms have mini-bar, safe, satellite-TV and direct dial telephone.

The Hotel has a Kosher Lemehadrin (no kitniot) kitchen and dining room, and Beit Knesset. Under the supervision of Rabbi Yechezkhel Shainfeld from Bnei-Berak.

 EXCURSIONS IN THE AREA:

From GARDONE RIVIERA it is possible to organize excursions to VENICE – 165 Km. (about 3 hours), VERONA – 55 Km. (about 50 minutes), MILAN – 140 km. (1 and half hours), SIRMIONE – 35 Km. (30 minutes by car and one hour by boat), TRENTO – 120 Km. (one and half hours), CANEVA WORLD (Aqua Park and Movies Studio Park), GARDALAND (amusement park) and ZOO SAFARI – 30 Km. (40 minutes), BRESCIA – 30 Km. (40 minutes), MANTOVA – 50 Km. (one hour), THE DOLOMITES – (2-3 hours) and LUGANO (Switzerland) – 200 km. (two and half hours).

ORGANIZED TOURS DURING PESACH:

To Venice, Verona, the Dolomites and Sirmione by boat.

ACTIVITIES:

 During the whole stay cultural and social activities will be organized. A special mini-club will operate for children's activities. 

 HOW TO GET THERE:

By AIR: to Verona (one hour), Brescia (40 minutes), Bergamo (75 minutes), Milano (2two hours), Venice and Bologna (two and half hours).

By train: To Brescia (one hour from Milan), and then by bus (every half an hour) to Gardone (one hour).

By car: On the highway A4 Milan-Venice from Milan, exit Brescia Est, and then follow the signs to Salo'. From Verona or Venice, exit Desenzano and then follow the signs to Salo'.
