If you've heard of Zakynthos, a.k.a. Zante, it will likely as not be as one of Greece's most beautiful vacation island destinations, famous for its red sunsets, its beaches, its aquatic treasures, its lush vegetation and its ..um.. night-life.

Hardly anyone with whom we have discussed this has heard of its unique Jewish history; from 1494 - 1955. We too only discovered the Jewish secrets of this magical island a little over a decade ago.   

For those of you who know about the Shoah in the Balkans, 1943/4 were the years when 96% of the Jews were annihilated. In every Balkan community.

Come hear the island's Jewish history from a 78-year-old former Jew of Zakynthos who heard of our trip and is coming back to his beloved island to tell us his own Jewish Zakynthos story.

Being operated succesfully gourmet kosher programs in Italy and Sapin, we are now able to invite a VERY LIMITED number of guests to join us for an incredible vacation in Zakynthos, August 19-30 (or part thereof) on an independent basis in a gorgeous, brand new colonial-style 5 star hotel, the Grand Mabely. 

Enjoy all the fabulous attractions the island has to offer - hiking, biking, swimming, boating and so much more....totally suitable for families (apart possibly from the fact that it's a Greek island in the summer and the dress code is not Bnei Brak)

All this beauty, all this history and... Kosher - under the strict supervision of Rabbi Eliahu Shitreet, Rabbi of Thessaloniki - glatt meat, regular milk (but chalav Yisrael can be made available if requested)

This trip is unique also in that, while staying in this magnificent hotel and enjoying Kosher food and wine, you will be able to enjoy all the island offers as independent travelers; we will suggest a program, but it's up to you to go where you want, whenever you wish. You can also stay for any period of time you choose

Double room in main building with sea view - 550 euro
