Situated on a quiet street in the historic center, Hotel Ponte Sisto offers the perfect base from which to explore many of the city’s most important and unforgettable sites.  It is located  just a stone’s throw from Campo de’ Fiori, Trastevere, Piazza Farnese, the Tevere and Via Giulia.  Within easy walking distance you can reach Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Venezia, Piazza di Spagna, Castel Sant’Angelo and the Vatican. The major cross streets for the Hotel are Lungotevere dei Vallati at Via dei Pettinari.

Upon stepping through the glass doors of Hotel Ponte Sisto, you may feel as if you’ve discovered an oasis of calm after a busy day in Rome.  This is no accident, for we asked our designers to create an atmosphere of “casual elegance,” which has been so meticulously achieved at every turn.

The jewel of Hotel Ponte Sisto is undoubtedly its courtyard garden.  Here you might lounge about in wrought iron furnishings tucked under thriving palm trees and expansive white parasols.  Cascading ivy, fragrant flowers and an ancient fountain join to make the garden an ideal refuge from the hustle and bustle of Rome. 

Hotel Ponte Sisto offers 103 guest rooms and suites, each architecturally unique from one another.  What they have in common, however, is your complete comfort and relaxation.

Our refined rooms are decorated in soothing tones of French blue and gold, peaches and cream, or deep red brocade.  You will find custom-designed cherry wood furnishings and luxurious marble bathrooms in rich shades of jade, gold, cream, or honey.  Our suites feature oversized Jacuzzi® hydro-massage tubs and private furnished balconies or terraces.
Many rooms and suites offer fabulous extras.  The “Belvedere” guestroom boasts a spectacular view of the Gianicolo hill and the dome of St. Peter’s, especially lovely at night.  One of our suites features its own enormous terrace (approx. 45 sq. meters) with lemon trees and an umbrella table. Many rooms overlook the garden of neighboring Palazzo Spada, or face inward over our lovely courtyard.

The 103 rooms and suites are subdivided as follows:  5 suites, 7 junior suites, 88 doubles and 3 singles.  A triple room configuration is possible with the addition of an extra bed (supplemental charge applies) and adjoining rooms are also available.  In addition, one single room and five double rooms have been specially designed to permit wheelchair access.
