Day 1 - Monday - November 20 2017Manuel Antonio

Manuel Antonio is the most popular destination in Costa Rica, yet the government has been able to keep this famous national park unspoiled. Here you can find almost any type of adventure activity and tour, including sport fishing, sea kayaking, Catamaran cruises, white water rafting, canopy tours, nature hikes, horseback riding, and surfing. Easily accessible from San Jose by inexpensive commercial flights or car, the Central Pacific is a wonderful destination for both families and couples.

  • Private Transfer Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) to Manuel Antonio. Arrive at the San Jose International Airport. Upon clearing immigration and customs, exit the airport and meet your driver who will be waiting for you and board your private van for the 2 ½ hour drive to Manuel Antonio. This beautiful drive will take you west of the Central Valley. Continue towards the beaches of the Central Pacific.

Spot three species of monkeys, sloths, iguanas, coatimundis, and a wide range of birds and reptiles. After the tour, stay in the park and relax on the pristine beaches or return to the hotel. If you think you may want to remain in the park until closing, we recommend coordinating a box lunch and bottled drinks with the hotel since there are no services inside the park. Board the shuttle back to the hotel at 4 PM when the park closes. Included: transportation, entrance fee, bilingual guide and water. What to bring: Binoculars, camera, and insect repellant.
  • Day 3 - Wednesday - November 22 2017

  • Damas Island Mangrove Boat Tour.   • Day 4 - Thursday - November 23 2017

  • Dolphin Watching & Snorkeling. The rushing of wind and waves are frequently interrupted by the splash of dolphins and whales playing in the wake as you sail through the blue Pacific waters. The unique geology of the region insures a surprise around every island and shore. You will stop for a leisurely swim at one of the white sand beaches and dive in the underwater reefs of the Manuel Antonio Marine Preserve. A swim and snorkeling break offers a perfect complement to the warm, sunny days. In addition to the vast array of fish and other underwater inhabitants, with any luck, you may even spot any one of the several species of sea turtles that frequent these waters.   • Day 5 - Friday - November 24 2017

  • 10 in 1 Adventure Tour. First stop is at the Amigos office for breakfast and then a 35 minute transfer to San Antonio de Damas, where you will take the Hummer vehicles while you travel down the barrel of a river. After this ride, you will have a 10 minute hike through nature trails before arriving at the main quarters. Here your guides will give you your special equipment and instructions. Now, let the fun continue as you go hiking Via Ferrata, which means that you will be walking at the borders of the canyon, attached to the walls by special ropes. You will proceed to do a combination of rappels, zip lining, and hiking. Upon conclusion of this high adventure tour, return to the hotel. Includes: transportation, lunch, snacks, safety equipment and professional bilingual guides. What to bring: light clothing, comfortable shoes (hiking or tennis shoes), insect repellent and extra clothes.

  • Day 6 - 7 - Saturday - Sunday - November 25 - 26, 2017

    2. We strongly recommend that our clients purchase travel insurance to cover unforeseen potential problemsprior to/during a trip. This insurance protects your deposits for both land and air costs should you have to cancel or interrupt your trip due to grave unplanned circumstances (sickness, injury, death of a family member, weather which causes cessation of services, etc.)*

    3. Departure Day: Please take note that this day you must check in with your airline provider at least 2-3 hours for international flights and 1 hour for local flights.You must also consider transfer times from one destination to another prior to your flight departure time.

    4. Local Flight Policies: Nature Air

    Baggage allowance for one bag per person up to 40 pounds. One carry on plus a personal item per person. Carry on must not exceed 10 pounds. Excess luggage will be charged at the airport and it is subject to availability on the plane. The following fees apply: 1 to 5 pounds over limit = $7.00 charge

    6 to 15 pounds over limit = $20.00 charge

    16 to 30 pounds over limit = $40.00 charge

    31 to 60 pounds over limit = $60.00 charge


    Maximum luggage allowance is 30 pounds + 10 pounds carry-on per person. Excess luggage will be charged at $1.00 per pound. The extra luggage is subject to space. Carrier may refuse baggage on the basis of excessive volume for safety reasons.
